Excellent Service. Beth has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. She always makes sure I am satisfied with my cut and color. She is always willing to listen to what I want and help me try something new. I have always been completely satisfied with the service and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this salon for both convenience and price!

Great Cuts-Great Service -Great Styles!. I have been going to Beth at this salon for several years and wouldn't think about going anywhere else. She goes that extra step to make sure you get exactly what you want. If you are looking for a salon with friendly service, good prices and a great atmosphere - give them a try. You won't regret it!

Great Cuts! Great Suggestions!. I've been getting my hair cut here since 1978 and that's while living in Ohio, California, Florida and North Carolina. Beth is definitely worth a plane ticket home. She'll do exactly what you want and make it look great. She'll also help you out when you're not sure what you want so you can find the right look. The salon is clean, comfortable and professional and everyone is very friendly. I would not go anywhere else in the Dayton area; and neither would my husband, brother, mom, aunts, uncles and cousins! We're all long-time CHD customers and couldn't be more pleased. Give them a try and you will be too!

A great salon with friendly service!. My husband and I have been a client of Contemporary Hair Design and Beth for many years. We enjoy the atmosphere and convenience of the salon. The stylists keep up with the current trends, styles and products. They truely care about providing great service and pleasing their customers. You never feel like they are rushing through your appointment. They give you the attention and service you deserve.

Beth always gets my color and cut exactly right. She is just as talented with mens styles. Beth has a great personality and really loves working with people. Over the years she has become more than our stylist but a friend.

Conveniently located on S. Alex Road so..... what are you waiting for....."Come On Down".

Looking for a new hair salon that you'll stay with?. I've been a happy customer since 1994. I get my hair cut and colored by Beth every five or six weeks. I'm willing to make the drive down from Vandalia because I trust her completely with my hair.

Professionally, the most impressive thing I find about Beth is that she will never recommend something that will damage your hair or otherwise not work just to get more money out of you.

Personally she's easy to talk to, and she's very attentive. She's completely patient with new ideas and has the expertise to steer you in the right direction if you're coming in with an idea that sounds good but just won't work with your hair. The entire salon has a great feel to it, the stylists are all friendly whether you're their client or not.

Lastly, my husband, who is somehow more picky about his hair than I am about mine, goes to Beth now on a regular basis. We highly recommend trying them out.

Best hair salon in town!. Contemporary Hair Design has been our choice for years! There's no one better than Beth McClain for us. My husband and I see Beth and so do my daughter, son-in-law, and our three grandkids. Beth always has time to listen to what we want and then follows through. Don't hesitate to stop by. Very friendly place.

Need a new style or keep the current one? Visit this salon!. My husband and I have to going to Contemporary Hair Design for many years.. I have been to 2 of the hair stylists and have been very happy with both. Beth currently colors and styles my hair. She is very attentive, makes sure that she styles my hair the way I want it and takes her time. All the sytlists are very friendly and helpful. No matter what you want, a foil, a cut or a color, it seems that someone there can do it. As in the comment before me, the salon should reflect its name of "comtemporary" and update the interior a bit. I have spoken to friends of mine, and the price I pay for a color, cut and style are resonable. I would highly recommend this salon.

Fiance highly recommends. My fiance and I just moved to the area a few weeks ago and decided to try this place out. We found it on Citysearch, but had never seen the salon or heard of it before. The exterior and interior leave much to be desired, but the service was good. My fiance has a military cut (very short on the sides and longer on top) but despises the "flat top" look that many stylists tend to cut. A lady named Tish cut his hair and he was extremely happy with the cut and cost ($16.50). This says a lot since he is very picky and usually does not like new stylists. The owner, Carol, cut my hair and she did a pretty good job too (but I felt it was overpriced at $23.50). Overall, it was a good experience.
