Dr. Charles Dean is a wonderful dentist.
The poor review that was posted on this site was from three years ago and it certainly cannot be the Dr. Dean that has been my dentist for many years.
The writer said:

I say: very short waits, friendly staff and I have always been given several plans for the dental work that needs to be done.
I always wonder when you see such good reviews and then a poor review - could this be a disgruntled past employee?
Names are not shown - makes you wonder.

A Caring and Skilled Dentist. I have gone to this dentist for extractions and fillings since 2007 and have recieved excellent and skilled work. I have never had to tell him when something is wrong with a tooth because he can diagnose it on the spot. He is very good with a needle and is sensitive to you if he feels you are in any pain. Dr. dean also is very good at diagnosing medical conditions and has a quick eye.He also has a wonderful dental assistant that is also skilled at fillings.He and his staff have done such a good job on my fillings that I would never want to go to someone else. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUDE MONEY HUNGRY DENTIST. DO NOT GO HERE!! This is a one-man Dental Office; however, he has four patients in four chairs at all times. My family went here for our first and last dental appt/exam with Dr. Dean. They advertise "free first exam" on their website and still billed my dental insurance for the exam. He told my husband he needed three (yes, three) crowns on teeth that weren't even bothering him. He gave a friend of ours a root canal and drilled away so much of his tooth that by the time he was done, he told him that now he needs a $956.00 crown - which his insurance does not cover. There was no mention of a crown when he screened for, or began the root canal. Furthermore, after he was done, it was too late to do anything about it, because most of the tooth was gone - it now sits way below the teeth on either side of it. Lastly, not one of us walked away without needing some type of work done, crowns, fillings, and possibly (!?!) a root canal for teeth that aren't even bothering us - which I feel is all totally unnecessary. This guy is just after the money and does unnecessary work to get it. We will not be going back to this money hungry dentist and recommend you don't either! P.S. I only gave one star because I couldn't do none!!!…
