Never buy there again :( – I sent a topiary tree planter to my mom after a dear friend of hers died. The lady who took my order was sweet. When my mom received the plant she followed the care instructions but the plant died approximately 2 weeks later. My mom called the Morning Sun and explained what happened but they were cold and rude offering no solution. When I brought the plant up to show them they said that my mom obviously did not take care of the plant. That was not true and was very inconsiderate of them to accuse someone of this without knowing the truth. Once again they offered no support and did not offer to replace it saying it was her fault. I was amazed at this, they had a perfect opportunity to make something right and chose to do nothing but blame my mom. They lost several customers from this situation but apparently they do not care. I left them with the dead plant and container the plant was in and told them to make a pretty arrangement in it for someone else to enjoy. If you choose to order from Morning Sun just know that you get what you get and if it is wrong they do not stand behind their plants or flowers.Once you leave their store they do not care if you ever come back!
Awful experience – The store looks and smells amazing! It is so enjoyable to be inside. Unfortunately the staff is not the same. Very rude and cold. Will only start to appreciate your company when you take interest in a big purchase. Also, take caution when thinking about purchasing flowers or plants from this establishment. The displays are gorgeous but what they deliver is not anything compared. They take pride in taking your money, not their products or service and if something goes wrong, it will be your fault.
always looks great! – I live over 30 mins from their shop - got to know them before they moved down to Centerville. Even though I pay a good deal for delivery, I still choose to use them over any other florist in the area (and I have tried a number of them). Their arraignments always look super and the flowers smell great and last a long time. Ive actually saved their number in my phone so I can call them and have flowers sent as often as I please. I can say I am completely satisfied with them.
Mother-in-law Loved the flowers – Forgot mother-in-law's birthday, called the Morning sun and they were able to deliver great flowers the same day!!. Received a call from Mother-in-law and she "LOVED" the flowers. Left a 10min. thank you on the our answering machine. Raved about how big and artistic and interesting.
Do Not Use for a Wedding – I went in to talk to someone about doing the flowers for my up coming wedding. The lady that is in charge of the Wedding flowers treated me like I was bellow her and had her nose so far up in the air. She proceeded to tell me that they only do one wedding a weekend, ok fine I can handle that. She then told me there was $100 save the date deposit, ok, again I could handle this, seeing as every vendor I have worked with have requested a deposit. But when I asked her to give me a quote, she told me I had to pay the $100 before I was talked to about pricing. Why would you put a deposit down for something you have no idea how much it is going to end up costing you?
STAY AWAY!! – My wife works up the road, and I had used Morning Sun Florist a few times prior without incident
I talked with the same lady that helped me the previous times. She usually had pretty good ideas. My wife likes minimalistic, modern, and clean flower arrangements. The lady threw out a few ideas like spiraling a long green leaf up the inside of the tall cylinder vas. I put in my two cents and told her my wife likes white calli lilies.
The delivery day comes and my wife ends up calling into work sick. the florist reassures me that the flowers would be fine for whenever I would want them delivered. My wife calls in sick the next day too, again, the florist reassures me everything is fine. The next day my wife went in to work and I called the florist and gave them the "go ahead"
My wife calls me thanking me for the flowers, as anyone would do even if they didn't like the flowers. When she got home with them my heart sunk. While the flowers were calli lillies, they were yellow the color of friendship. Three of the five flowers were wilted and bent, and there was no leaf wrapped up the inside of the vas. Had I paid 25 bucks for this I would have let it slide, but as I paid over $120 for this hideous arrangement
I called 3 more times before I got a hold of her, and it was the lady I dealt with. I explained how I felt, and wasn't wanting my money, but maybe a partial credit on my next purchase. To my surprise, she became very rude with me, telling me the flowers were bad looking because the order was delayed because my wife is sick after they kept reassuring me the flowers would look great, then she told me my wife shouldn't be so particular and she should be a little more appreciative. I explained my wife was very thankful for the idea but both her and I agreed it was not what I paid for. I told the manager that we would not be using them anymore, and she said, "We'll survive" and hung up.
A Wonderful Surprise – Driving thru Centerville the other day I noticed a quaint looking florist shop, set back off the road in an old barn, and decided to pull in.What a nice surprise,it was like entering a different world,a really nice atmosphere. They had a lot of fresh flowers as well as plants and orchids. What I enjoyed most was the unique gifts and home decorations.
