You should try Derailed. I have been to many salons in my life and think Derailed is the best. I am always guaranteed a great cut at a great price. Ausin and Mindy are fun and friendly. They get to know you and are able ot give ideas and advice if you are trying to find a new look . I am always being asked who cuts my hair and getting complements. It's nice to know that there are still small locally owned salons that give that personal touch that is so hard to find these days. I highly recommend Derailed and if you are looking for a new stylist or a fresh look go see Mindy and Austin they will do the job.

great local hairstylists!. If you're looking to get a great modern haircut derailed is a place to go.

These people are very nice and i would go back there any time! I love local hairdressers in general and after moving away from texas i didnt think i would find anyone as great as my local hair stylist over there but after getting my hair chopped off at derailed i saw things differently lol.

Great haircut in a fun & funky setting. Austin and Mindy are really fun, nice and knowledgable. I walked in without a clue of what I wanted so Austin talked me through a few options and explained to me the best haircuts for my hair type. I ended up walking out with a cute, stylish cut with a creative edge and beautiful highlights and lowlights. They also recommended a few fun things to do in the Dayton area because I'm new! I would highly recommend this salon!

Mindy gave me a very even quality cut on my first visit to her. This is the first salon I have visited since moving to the Dayton area. The cut Mindy gave me was very even and grew out nicely. It was a bit too short, but I usually have that problem when getting a new stylist. Most new stylists also get the cut wrong and she was right on the mark. She was very warm and friendly as well, so it was a nice experience all around. As long as the quality of the cut remains constant, I'll keep seeing her!

GRRRReat Salon!. I have been going to more expensive salons outside of Dayton for some time. I have never found a stylist I thought was really good. Thank goodness I found Derailed! I love supporting local business, especially the good ones. Mindy and Austin are super sweet. I brought a picture of a style and cut I wanted. Austin talked with me about it and put his own creative edge to my existing ideas. It was perfect. I have finally found a home for my hair!

Warning ... avoid at all costs!. WARNING One tof THE worst haircuts of my life.!!! Owner does not underdstand that all all hair is to be cut to the hairs needs and nuances!!!! Not one type cut fits all!

I asked for a modern slanted across the eyes cut and he cut it uneven with a big gap!! Not to mentions way too short with layers. It was reallyawful.

Great cut and color every time!. I have been going to Mindy for years now. I drive about 1/2 hour to see her, but it is so worth it. She always knows exactly what to do with my hair. I get tired of it often, so I just tell her to use her judgement. It looks great everytime. I have a few friends who even drive up from Cincinnati just to get a cut and color! Very worth it!

dEraIled hAiR sALoN is the Best EVER! great enviornment, customer service, & versitility!. If you are looking for an updated, sophisticated or edgy, highly noticable and great hair cut & color you don't have to look any further for a salon to meet your needs. I can't recommend Derailed more! Austin has delivered every time! Tell 'um what you want and thats whatcha get. Plus you get to hang out in a cool salon with funky artwork. You can't beat that! The new nail tech is great too! I recommend the Ladies night out package, bring some gilfriends and enjoy some cool services, it's a great time!

Best haircut in a long time!. I had a great experience. The owners are professional, yet relaxed. Told Austen what I wanted and then he made some great suggestions and I couldn't have asked for a better haircut. Give this salon your business! $25 for a ladies haircut + tip. It's worth it.
