My tip is not to go. The food is
terrible, not what I expected. We didn't even eat it. I'm used to some of the other local mexican restaurants in this area. They do not compare.

Wornout restaurant and greasy.
I have visited many mexican restaurants and enjoy the cusine. Service is usaully quick and attentive. NOT here. I was stunned by the shrimp frijita entre. Normally it is brought your table loudly steaming, attracting everybody's attention. Not this one, road kill does better. it was greasy, over cooked. down right disgusting. The bright spot was the refried beans, rice and pico de galo. they were delicious. The atmosphere is thread bare, split vinyl seats. tacky painted "adobe" images. a new decore starting with a fire would certainly improve the situation.

Awesome Food.
I don't see how this place has gotten bad food. The fact that it's always crowded tells me that maybe the other low reviewers had a bad experience, it can happen at any restaurant.
I love the burritos here... the red sauce on top is a tomato sauce and very yummy. Queso also very good, and I love the chips and salsa. For a more veggie filled dish, try the pollo loco! Yum!

Consistently bad food.
I've tried eating here multiple times and eventually gave up; the food is consistently overly greasy and doesn't taste good. I love Mexican food, but this is the worst Mexican restaurant I've been too.

Terrible!.
This is some of the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. I couldn't even finish my meal and that is rare for me. I'm not sure what people see in this place, but the food was nasty. It usually looks busy so either a lot of people are eating there for the first time or people here just don't know what Mexican food should taste like. El Rando Grande = Yuck!
