Love it!. I was looking for a place to get a facial and a leg wax. Several salons came up in my search results and I decided to try Uptown. I'm so glad I did. Tina, the esthetician, is amazing. She knew exactly what my face needed. My skin now looks better than it ever has. She also gave me my first leg wax. It was not nearly as painful as I'd imagined it to be. In fact, it was almost painless. I have now had 3 leg waxes there and go back next week for my fourth. That says a lot coming from me. I also started getting my hair cut and my nails done there. Shelley does my nails. I just started getting the shellac polish. She makes my nails look very natural (at my request) and professional. Christine has been my hair stylist and she also does a great job. I love getting my hair cut on Fridays because I love the way she styles it. I can leave the salon and go home and change and do my makeup and be ready for a night out. I used to have to restyle my hair after a cut to get it to look the way I like, but not anymore. Overall, Uptown Hair Studio is an excellent value if you're looking for quality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional service from a great staff!

Best in service and style. I am very picky about my hair, and have been to many, many salons over the years. Although Uptown is not as big as some of the better-advertised spa-salons in the area, I would definitely recommend it above any of them. Melissa D. is the best and regularly attends clinics to stay up with the latest trends. I have been to Uptown many times and have always been really satisfied with the results. I can't say the same for some of the more expensive spa salons I've been to! Definitely worth the trip- ask for Melissa!
