Great environment for any child!

I love Kinderhaus! I had two days notice to find a full-time daycare for my son, who was then 8 months old. After calling five other daycares, Kinderhaus had a slot. The owner/director was kind enough to stay late to show my husband and I around. It has been more than a year now, and my son is still at Kinderhaus.
We are rather picky about our child's diet, not to mention his food allergies, and the people at Kinderhaus have been great about making sure he eats right. We have not had any issues with using cloth diapers, which most daycare centers refuse to do. When my son was nursing, I was always provided a comfortable rocking chair to nurse him in. The owner even trained her staff to recognize the sign language we use so that they could respond when he was hungry or tired or done eating.
Most importantly, the needs of all the children are met with kindness and caring. When a child is extra fussy, he or she gets extra attention and cuddles. All the kids get to play outside daily (weather permitting), and they are always doing fun activities like painting and dancing.
I have had very few issues with Kinderhaus. Once, I witnessed a caregiver leaving an infant in a crib to cry herself to sleep. That person was gone not long after the incident and this is definitely not a normal occurrence there! Another time, one of the children in my son?s class was biting other children, including mine. As soon as the problem was apparent, the staff began separating the child from the others (in a playpen with toys in it) during times when he was more likely to bite. The problem was immediately resolved.
I would recommend Kinderhaus to anyone. The owner/director is always there and is easy to talk to. The staff is awesome and any problems are addressed right away. I LOVE Kinderhaus!
