Too Big For Thier Britches!!!. I saw the other post commenting on the poor treatment he received and I had to post. The Baumbachs use to be real nice folks and now they are arrogant and down right rude. The food is ok but if I'm going to spend $60 on dinner for me and the wife it is going to be on steak or seafood from now on. They forget who supported them in the beginning but no longer spend money their because of the attitude.....Final comment if you go thier... see if you can spot the person with the fake smile and no class.

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!. I found this place with just a mapsearch of restaurants available while running down I-70. It was about 2.5 miles off the interstate, but boy, are we glad we made the trip. The food was excellent! Service was great and the people were very friendly. The atmosphere was like homey and tastefully decorated. We are farmers and ranchers, so this place suited us very well. I wish this restaurant was closer to my home, nearly 900 miles south! We will stop through again given the chance.

Worse Place Ever. We had a horrible experience here and will never return. The wait time for our food was way too long and the food was cool. Owners were rude and the waitress was slow and not very friendly. If I want barbaque I'll stay in Richmond or go to Dayton or Indy. I don't think this place even deserves one star.

Simply Amazing!. If you are looking for a place that serves Really great food,you don't have to look any further. Baumbach's serve up healthy portions of all your favorites,tender beef brisket,delicious pulled pork,Memphis style dry rub ribs,farm raised pit roasted chic. Really fresh salads,outstanding cheesy hashbrown casserole ,baked macaroni & cheesy hashbrown casserole,baked macaroni & cheese,fresh baked dinner rolls and corn muffins served a/ real butter and their in house hot pepper jelly. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Exceptional Service & Mouth Watering Food!. Baumbach's is a family owned and operated business that started in 2004. They also own and operate as corporate & private event caterers. They attract regulars from hours away, travelers, that make certain that they fit in a trip to Baumbach's when in the area. All the BBQ is cooked in outdoor pits over a rotisserie with various secret dry rubs, each unique to it's own meat. They offer Texas Style Beef Brisket, Juicy Pulled Pork, Memphis style Dry Rub ribs, Farm raised Chicken w/out growth hormones or antibiotics, Smoky Texas Hot or Mild Pork or Beef Links (specially mixed exclusively for Baumbach's) and just in case you're not into BBQ, they have some of the best steaks in Ohio or Indiana. Fresh cut they offer an 8 oz. Filet, a 14 oz Rib Eye, and a 32 oz. Porterhouse char grilled steak, which one shouldn't be in a hurry for slow and steady which result in perfection! If meat isn't your thing then they also do a great job with a mouth watering Pan Fried Cajun Catfish Dinner finished off with fresh squeezed lime juice. Each dinner entree' is served with your choice of two of their home style sides, which include their own Extra Cheesy Hash brown casserole sans onions, the same Extra Cheesy Baked Macaroni & Cheese, Fresh sweet and creamy coleslaw, or American potato salad. BBQ Beans, Turnip Greens, Baked Apples. The house salad pays attention to small details such as fresh romaine lettuce, tomato,garlic croutons, cheddar cheese and rib bits (their version of bacon bits) If you choose a dinner entree , complimentary Hot baked dinner rolls and or corn muffins are served up with creamy butter and house made Hot Pepper Jelly. Vegetarians will be made to feel right at home with several choices. Baumbach's will take your reservation for lunch and dinner. They offer Free WI FI .
