BEER ME, MR. BOSTON!. I really enjoy going to Boston's Bistro & Pub. Let me point out though that this is a Public House...Not a restaurant. There is a small menu that has excellent pizzas & paninis to accompany your beer selection. The beer list now has over 100 beers in bottles and about 16 beers on tap. I agree that the interior could use some attention but jeez.....this is a small independently owned business that is providing great beer, chow, & jobs to the north dayton area. Personally, I can overlook the maintenance when I'm beiing fed, beered & treated in a friendly manner.

Hungarian Treat. I had never been to Boston's Bistro and Pub until I found a wonderful groupon a few weeks ago. Ever since then I can't stop going! They have an excellent craft bier selection on draught of about 16 biers that are constantly changing. Plus 100 bottles to choose from. If it is difficult to choose, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about bier, and they are more than happy to help you decide. They will try to match your preferred style such as lager, pilsner, etc. with something they have on draught.

Their food is beautifully made and just as yummy. So far I have tried the Bold BBQ, Smashed Spuds, and Magyar Delight pizza and they are all delicious in their own unique ways. They were definitely worth the 20-30min wait for gourmet pizzas that you can't find anywhere else. If you don't want a featured pizza, they have about 30 different toppings to choose from for a custom pizza including rare items like artichoke hearts. I am planning on trying one of their paninis or salads next. Plus, I heard they are expanding their menu within the next week or two. I can't wait!

The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing which is great for family and friends alike even though their carpet and benches are a little worn. You can play pool or darts, or you can rent out "Steve's Dog House" for a more private party. They also have a large bier garten with a fire pit which is lovely to sit or stand by. I heard that their outdoor bar is opening soon as well, and they are planning on having multiple bands playing out there. I know this is going to be a consistent place for my family and friends to go for dinner/parties and I am looking forward to all their future events.

Good beer if you pay the price...not much else. When we walked in this place we both noticed the carpet was almost worn through, seat covers were torn and general maintenence seems to have went by the wayside sometime around 1974. We were not impressed by the small menu(food) and after waiting slightly over an hour for our Magyar Delight Pizza we finally got our food. It looked impressive but tasted bland, chicken was dry and flavorless and the alfredo sauce didnt really taste too good. The girl tending bar told me they use "frozen dough from a cardboard box" for their pizza and that explained a lot. We will not be back to this place. For a better beer experience try Chappys tap room all their food is from scratch!!!
