OVER PRICED PROJECT HOUSING!. Stillwater park is an apartment complex that tries to be somthing its not. With todays economy how can stillwater justify raising peoples rent? The first review spoke on snow removal, and it's true they didnt remove any snow off of the side walks, and waited 3 days before they did somthing about the parking lot. You would think that with the high rent they charge they would have reacted sooner...But they didnt. Stillwater charges a $35 fee for heating in the winter. It's true that they keep the heat low, but they are real sneaky with it because they turn it off completely at night. They just put in new windows...So now they want the tennants to pay for the windows by raising rent...The thing is..These apartments just aren't worth the hike in rent..And I guess since they put in the windows, that justifies the lower heat. For a 2 bedroom they want $600.00 a month. Thats $635.00 in the winter (my rent just got raised to 600.00 ). How did they come up with that? AND IN THIS ECONOMY!?!? Did they expect someone to sign a lease at that price, with a smile on thier face? THIS IS NOT THE RITZ! Stillwater thinks they are the only game in town. If you are thinking of renting from them dont do it, unless your on section 8. I refuse to spend my money on 'OVER PRICED PROJECT HOUSING"…
BEWARE of Stillwater Park Apartments. Charter Property Group manages Stillwater Park Apartments, Dayton, Ohio charges additional $20.00 -$25.00 each month to rent starting October to March of each year for removal of snow from parking lot/sidewalks. Snow doesn't actual start in the December-January time frame, Can you remember when it snow in March? Can you rmember when it snow in October/Novemeber? Removal of snow at Stillwater Park Apartments from parking lots/side walks is seldom done/not at all. Tenants fallen on their parking lots/sidewalks. Charter Property Group/Stillwater Park Apartments pays for the heat? Does additional $20.00-$25.00 charge during October-March paid toward the heat? So, actually pays the heat? Charter Property Group/ Stillwater Park Apartments / or the tenant? Stillwater Park Apartment management keep the heat low during winter months, tenants complaint to Stillwater Park Apartment management to adjust heat higher. Lighting is very poor in parking lots during the night. Elderly tenants majority live at Stillwater Park Apartmnets but Charter Property Group/Stillwater Park Apartment management doesn't care for their safety during winter months not removing snow from parking lots/sidewalks. Majority of Stillwater Park Apartments tenants are Black, does Charter Property Group treats their tenants in their other apartments in providing poor response time of repairing things, the non friendly, courteous, helpful of maintenenance personel and office personnel (Debbie), and non removal of snow from their sidewalks/parking lots the same? Complaints sent/photos, 2007,2008,2009 provided to City of Dayton, OH/Harriston Township, OH showing snow 3-4 + inches had not been removed from Stillwater Park Apartments sidewalks over a week…
