Best Chinese for the Money. Wah Fu looks a little scary from the outside but it's actually a really great restaurant.

The service is exceptional.

The size of the portions are unbelievably big, while the prices are unbelievably low. (Most entrees under 5 dollars!)

I recommend the wonton soup, the spring rolls, and the fried rice.

Take a chance: Best in Dayton. I finally worked up enough nerve to go into this restaurant last week. I have been driving by it for years. If you aren't hung up on "ambience", this is the best Chinese restaurant in Dayton. This is not one of those restaurants that has a preprinted menu with numbers assigned to all of the menu choices. They have their own menu, which looks to be about 15 years old! The food is absolutely over the top. I have been there twice. First time I had Hunan Beef, second time I had Beef with Snow Pea Pods. I will probably eat there again yet this week, and plan to try one of their chicken dishes. The service was outstanding. I noticed that the waitress (there is only one waitress) greeted the regular customers with a warm familiarity. She even remembered me on my second visit.

So take a chance, and try this restaurant. The parking lot is small, but I believe there may be additional parking across the street.

Best Chinese Around. This is far and away the best chinese food in Dayton. The building looks dumpy, but the food more than makes up for it. Highly suggested!

GREAT FOOD AND PERSONAL SERVICE. Excellent food, cheap as you can find, kind service. It looks like a dump but is a gem!!!!Give it a try.

User review by desderdis. It was like going to my grandmother's house, if my grandmother was oriental. The food was awesome, the portions were huge and the price was right. The outside doesn't look like much, but the food inside more than makes up for it.
