VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON RETURNS. Yesterday my husband went to Rich's Pawn Shop on Watervliet and bought a throwing axe, kinda like throwing knives. It was sold as a throwing axe. He only paid 15.00 for it and it was new, not used. He brought it home and threw it at the piece of wood he has been using with the other throwing knives and guess what, it broke first time,the metal broke up by the handle. We immediately went back to the pawn shop with receipt and asked for money back. They actually had the nerve to tell him to go and have it welded on his own. They wouldnt work with him or even exchange it. He only had the axe for 1 hour. I have never heard of such bad customer realtions as this store. I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING AT THIS STORE AND YOU SHOULD NOT EITHER.

Rich's Pawn (in business to make money, not help the needy!).
MOST of their items they have for sale in their store (from firearms to musical to stereo equip., whether home or car audio or tools) sometime can be high. I seen the SAME EXACT MODEL AIR COMPRESSOR but VERY OBVIOUSLY USED air compressor for more than what I even paid for it new at sears.But I got it on sale though, but they do give decent loans in my opinion though. I guess the prices they charge give you barganing room to "HAGGLE, OR NEGOTIATE" with them, after all, ITS NOT WALLMART, YOU CAN BARGAN (I KNOW) I've bought alot o stuff there. It gives you a chance to bargan with them. Its kinda fun sometimes! And SHAWN IS A HELL OF A GUY TOO, Down too earth, understanding, but he's not there to give away money. He's in a business, but there to try to help you out at the same time. I can't stand these people that come into a pawn shop and expect to get TOP DOLLAR for their CRAP! If you think you can get more, GO TO CRAIGS LIST, SERIOUSLY!

Worst Pawn Shop in Dayton. Except for Shawn, the staff is rude and condescending. I recently tried to pawn a Bosch Power Drill I recently paid $200 for new, and was told they would give $10 on a loan. The big fat guy is particularly rude. I would suggest Mr. Pawn on Linden or Anybodys on Wayne Ave.

Will never shop here again. I have bought thousands of dollars in music gear here but have decided to no longer shop here at all.Every time ive ever taken anything in for a loan i was belittled and left without taking a loan...originally i thought well maybe my stuff wasnt worth anything but recently i took a 900 cpu in still in box never been used..etreme gaming cpu top of the line and was...talked down to,belittled and told it wasnt worth anything and was going to be offered a riduculus sum...and i was only wanting a 200 dollar loan...this store will no longer recieve any of my bizz and will tell anyone mentioning it to not waste thier time and go to mr. pawn where they treat you like a valued customer....Rich's is watching way to much pawn stars..so say goodbye to my bizz...my bands bizz and all bands and people who ever ask my opinion...worse pawn shop in dayton by far
