GO ELSEWHERE. The founder used to run an ice cream store up on North Main in Dayton. It's vacant now but still there.

He noticed the success Vic Cassano was having with pizza, copied him and capitalized on what Vic did.

Well, good for Marion, but he wasn't Italian. He wanted you to think he was, which is the reason he used his first name instead of his last... Glass.

The next part of the joke is that piazza actually means "plaza" in Italian - a plaza like you find in the town center of Troy, Ohio. It doesn't mean "pizza restaurant", which fits, because Marion's aren't much in the way of a restaurant.

Walking into a Marion's is like walking into a tomb because none of this places have windows.

I'll never forget how nasty Mr. Glass was to all of my friends and me when I was a kid. He made his living off of families and kids, and he was nasty to kids. And people go there after kids sporting events. Can you believe that?

Other places in town offer thin crust now that is far superior, better priced, and that actually have atmosphere.

Go there instead.
