Great Studio!.
I completely disagree with the not recommeded reviews. After dancing at other studios in the area, I took my daughter to Madonna's on recommendations from friends. Madonna's School of Dance is
better than any studio we have attended in the past. My daughter has been taught the technique she was not taught at other studios. Madonna and her staff focus more on technique then "just learning a dance for recital". At Madonna's the dancers learn the terms for dance steps and can put a combination together by understanding the relationship between terms and steps. The are taught steps and techniques, not treated like a parrot that mimics what they see. With this knowledge these dancers can go anywhere and be told in words the dance combination and do it.
As far as complaints about leaving messages....the studio hours are posted on the window. The studio does not open until 4:30 most days. I have never had a problem reaching someone if I call during studio hours.
Overall I feel my daughter has grown in her dance since attending Madonna's. I highly recommend this dance studio.…
I second not recommended.
When you step in the door Madonna's looks like your typical dance studio but it's one of the worst run unprofessional businesses around. The teachers are mediocre at best and poor technique is
taught in every class. The studio is simply focused on the competition teams and it shows. The average kid will be taught a sloppy routine for recital and that is it. Susie Q has lost her excitement for dance since coming to this studio. My daughter will finish out the year because she made a commitment but when that is done we will not return. We will be looking elsewhere for well run studio.
There was zero communication from any of the dance staff or secretary about schedules, class time changes and upcoming events. I guess your suppose to be psychic. I agree the website is is poorly run and they don't keep it updated. I have been able to reach staff on the phone but purely by luck. They were always less then pleasant.…
Not recommended.
Although my daughter enjoyed the classes to a point, she wasn't overly excited to go every week.
There is ZERO communication when it comes to schedules, class time changes, and upcoming events.
The website for this company is the most poorly functional website I've ever seen and they don't keep it updated.
Lastly, I've NEVER been able to reach anyone at the facility by phone. I always have to leave a message.…
Great place for children of all ages!. Madonna's School of Dance is a great place for children of all ages to dance. The classes are rich in technique. Students are taught "hands on" dance technique, not just a dance for a recital. The teachers are wounderful. The dance classes consist of a teacher and at least one student teacher, so there is alot if individual attention given. The free open studios once a month are a great way for my dancers to practice any technique or dance steps they need to improve upon. Tuition is reasonable too! As a mother of three dancers, I couldn't be more pleased than I am with Madonna's School of Dance. I would highly reccommend Madonna's to everyone!…
Great place for any future ballerina!!. My daughter has been going to Madonna's School of Dance for 2 years now & she just loves it! We all love it! If you are new to the area & looking for ballet classes for your little princess (or prince) Madonna's is definitely one place you'll want to check out. The teachers are patient, very friendly, & extremely talented. The kids all really enjoy themselves. The waiting room is comfortable and even the family members of students are friendly here. Oh...& recital is always top notch!!…
