My family enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. When we return to the Moraine, OH area, this will be our stop for that time. Keep up the good work.
Great Stay. It was short overnight stay but it was very pleasant. The front desk was very nice and made some good suggestions for dinner in the area.
Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
where is the health dept on this one?. upon our arrival at approx 4:30pm the trashcan outside our room was over flowing & a empty beer box & who bag of empty beers were laying on the ground obviously from the night before. We drove 4hrs to see a concert & were looking forward toa nice trip. We were so grossed out about the room we procrastinated to return and almost just drove home. The floor was never vacuumed, a lg.water stain on the ceiling in sleep area &sink area. Had to kill bugs in the bathroom, ceiling light in the bathroom was actually falling out & a hole in the ceiling in the shower made us feel as being watched.smoke detector falling off ceiling, broken desk chair, toilet wobbled when using it.bathroom door had dirty spashmarks all over it.,Cobwebs in the corners, there was actually a BOOGER smeared on the bathroom door and frame! we were afraid to get into bed fearing bedbugs and since the room was filthy assumed the sheets were also, I can only imagine what was on them and the spread!! My husband wanted to just go home but i was too tired to drive back home so we were forced to stick it out. I will NEVER recommend anyone to stay there. I have stayed in lots of places in my life i thought were bad, but this one beats all!!!! IF NOT FOR THE MEMEORY OF THE CONCERT MY TRIP WOULD BE RUINED!!
Free coffee refills and budget rates make this motel tops with highway travelers..
In Short
The first Super 8 opened in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1974, charging $8.88 a night. Today, the national franchise, with its familiar red-and-yellow sign, still stands for dependable rooms at wallet-friendly prices. A staple for road-tripping families, truck drivers and tour groups, the motel offers complimentary morning coffee and continental breakfasts. Another perk for travelers: Super 8 travel cups may be refilled for free at any of the motel's locations.
