Mitchell is the best!. I had a massage with Mitchell last week and it was amazing! I have been to spas all over the country and this was hands down the best I have had. Massage was perfect, customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I already cant wait to go back!
bait & switch with no one to speak to. We have spent over a $1500.00 in packages for ourselves and gifts for friends. We purchased a deluxe spa pedicure and from the time we purchased it until the time we used it Hausfelds changed the names of their offerings. Well we booked what was to be a 1 hour session and they said nothing. After 32 minutes we were done and escorted to the cashier. We asked what happend and they said they don't offer that package anymore. We were given $7.98 each as a credit and told if we have any other questions we could email MOLLY. The problem is ... no one will ever speak to you to help resolve any issues, they only do it by email. Well I can tell you that I have emailed for 7 days now and I get one misdirected response per day on average. They took my money on a 2009 package and refunded me the difference on a new 2010 price. They cheated us out of 1/2 the time we paid for and gave us $7.98 back. I have another package I purchased for my wife at $239.00 but they no longer offer it. Even though the offer has not expired I am not sure about what she will get. I asked for a refund due to the situation and lack of personal response but they told me VIA EMAIL, that if I showed up at the salon for a refund, they had already alerted security. I hope this gives you all a little insight into just what type of place this really is. I for one will never spend another dime at this bait and switch establishment. I hope you are all forewarned.
Bad Customer Service.
I booked an appointment ahead of time received a $5.00 gift coupon. The coupon had the date of my appt on it. In person at the salon, I changed the appointment date and time to another date, because I was having my picture taken by a professional photographer and I wanted to look good for the sitting. At that time the Lead Ass istant, didn't tell me that my coupon was not going to be honored because the date was changed. I kept the appointment and presented the card at check-out. They wouldn't honor the card. They said it was up to the stylist to honor. They went to ask her and Carissa said no. I asked for the owners phone #. When I spoke to Bobbie Hausfeld she said, "it's our policy not accept the coupon if the date is changed on the card."
Well, Bobbie, if that's your final answer, I wont go there anymore. $5.00 is a big deal for someone on unemployment. I thought you acted haughty and high horse on the phone and your tone of voice sucked. Now you folks know how the owner acts. What good is it to patronize a place where the customer isn't treated out of courtesy? Dont go to Hausfeld's. The Owner needs all the money she can get. Looks like two others before me gave sad reviews.
Great place to waste money. I have had my eyebrows waxed at this spa twice, both times they were uneven but the last time one was shorter than the other! I called and they refused to give me any manger name or info. I sent emails to their comments email only to be ignored, when I finally did get a hold of a manager I was told to come in and they would look at my eyebrow. I did and was told by the 'specialist' I used this term losely as no one in that establishment looks to be older than 16, the specialist agreed with me! She said one of my eyebrows was shorter than the other and I would have to come back in a few weeks to get them fixed! But when I spoke to the manager she said, well one was shorter than the other but not that noticable. and this was on my FACE! She would not give me a free wax or my money back and we are talking $15 bucks when I spent hundreds there. I will never go back. They do not understand that they are customer oriented, they do not know how to treat people, worst spa ever! Wal-mart would do a better job!
Good treatment, bad service. I treated my girlfriend to hot stone therapy on her birthday at Hausfeld's Salon and Day Spa. The masseuse and treatment were nice, but the girl at the front desk was terrible. She was very rude and condescending and pretty much ruined not only my girlfriend's experience there but her birthday as well. We have been treated with kindness and respect to all other spas we've been to, but not so here. The girl at the front desk was also incompetent, charging us twice and now we have to go through the trouble of getting that resolved. They have lost two customers and I hope to warn others of a very unpleasant ending when you pay for your service.
