Great Therapists, Receptionist Very Poor.
The therapists at this facility are excellent. I'd recommend them highly to anyone.
However, the receptionist, Joy, leaves lots to be desired.
As a Tricare beneficiary, I owe a $12 co-pay each visit. My life is very busy and I always seem to get a late start to my therapy appointment and run out of the house without any cash or a checkbook. Three times I've not had the money to pay the co-pay, so they let me slide, then billed me for the $36. This last time, on Wednesday, 19 Nov 2008, the receptionist Joy gave me a whole lot of gas for not having the money. I asked her to please bill me as they'd done before. She continued to rail at me, then called billing. I asked her if I should just skip the appointment. She hesitated, I asked her again, then she said yes. So I walked out without having my back and shoulder treatment.
This is totally uncalled for. There is no reason they couldn't have billed me again, or waited until the next appointment when I would have brought the money.
I've notified Tricare that I will not deal with this group until Joy is fired. Tricare will refer me to a different provider. I hate to leave Midwest as they've been competent, helpful and very pleasant, all except this "Joy" thing (yeah, right, "Joy" OK).

Great Speech Therapy for Kids!. I have to admit, we only went here while we were waiting to get into somewhere else on the waiting list. Plus that our insurance would allow a fair amount of visits per year so we wanted to do twice a week until the year ran out. We had PHENOMENAL results for our just over 2 year old daughter. To be honest I thought they were a little too strict, not making it "fun" enough. But the reality is that our daughter loved going, and when we finally started going to the waiting list place they were more strict (less play focused) and my daughter did not enjoy going there as much. Plus the techniques used here at Midwest seemed MUCH more productive, we didn't seem to get anywhere with the second places techniques. However we were almost completely caught up thanks to Midwest, so it didn't matter much. It's been a while but I think we saw Jeanine, and once we worked with a lady with red curly hair that was great too.…
Caring Therapists, Helpful staff.
Having seen both the adult and kids side of the therapy clinic and having met both staff (adult and kid), I can recommend this center for all ages. I myself have personally been seen at several
clinics in the Dayton area for lower back pain, Midwest Therapy has, by far, been the most helpful in being open to try new ideas/techniques and give me ideas to make previous excersises easier to do.
I would recommend this clinic for all of their services, Physical, occupational, speech therapy, and mostly their newest service MASSAGE THERAPY!!!!…
