A town full of beautiful natural scenery, crafty shops, organic eateries and radical college students.

In Short
The springs (which are more orange) reside in Glen Helen, a 1,000-acre nature preserve frequently traversed by Antioch College students. Bikers and skaters stick to the Little Miami Scenic Trail, which extends to Xenia. There are creative kids' toys at Mr. Fub's Party, miles of used books at Dark Star Comics and handmade crafts at Village Artisans. Young's Jersey Dairy offers ice cream, gifts, a goat pettin zoo, steakhouse and a miniature-golf course.

If you need to get away, w/o going too far (geographically) Yellow Springs is ideal. Small town charm, hippie ambiance, natural beauty is all available in Yellow Springs/Glen Hellen. Check out the Little Art Theatre for the coolest movie going experience you might ever have. Late October and the leaves are peaking!
- Pros: liberal, eclectic, peaceful
