Chip Mues; a steady and calm force in a difficult time!. I want to provide a review for Chip Mues. My brother was going through a divorce. Even though I am an attorney, I do not practice in the Dayton area and I do not practice domestic relations. I asked for references from others in the Dayton area and received Chip’s name. I researched his Martindale Hubbell rating, which is an attorney peer rating system, and Chip was rated the highest, AV. I was doing due diligence to be certain that we selected an attorney that understood that people are involved in the process, with emotions, but also understood that we have to be financially realistic.

When we met with Chip, he was calm and practical, which were the exact traits that held us steady throughout the process. He told us that the divorce process was a marathon and no truer words were spoken. Through the highs and lows, we relied on his advice and his calm demeanor to bring a resolution to the matter. The staff, from the attorneys and the support staff, were always helpful, always encouraging and gave great support!! Even though I am an attorney, when it is your own family and you are emotionally invested, it is difficult not to react emotionally. Nonetheless, Chip and his staff always kept us focused on the overall objective and kept us on the steady path. I respect and admire the way that Chip practices law. I believe a good attorney is a problem solver, an empathetic person, an individual that truly understands the process, identifies the long term goals and achieves those goals in the most efficient manner, both emotionally and financially.
